Efficiently managing government budgets during his years in uniform, Frank practiced fiscal discipline, while defending our country. He knows that government must tighten its belt and work harder to spend smarter, not expecting working families to bear more of the burden.
He developed an acute sense of responsibility and work-ethic, working on a small family-owned farm in Copley. Commitment to his country
Inspired by previous generation’s legacy of service, Frank was determined to serve his nation in our military. After graduating from Copley High School, Frank fulfilled a life-long dream, enlisting in the United States Army.
Throughout his decade in uniform, Frank distinguished himself by exhibiting outstanding leadership qualities and a proven ability to perform under pressure. Frank’s accomplishments in the Army include:
- Attaining the position of Squad Leader while serving for four years in the 101st Airborne Division.
- Completing extensive Special Operations Training earning the coveted Green Beret.
- Two Army Commendation Medals and four Army Achievement Medals for his service globally, including in the Middle East, Kosovo, the US-Mexican border and Africa.
- Recognized as the honor graduate from Army leadership school at Fort Campbell, KY. - Awarded the Bronze Star for his service as a Sergeant First Class in Iraq with the Special Forces. Serving his hometown
Frank was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. He earned a Consumer Affairs / Business degree from The Ohio State University.
Committed to preserving our heritage, Frank was asked to serve on the Summit County Historical Society’s Board of Directors. A life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Frank is the Jr. Vice Commander of the Fairlawn VFW. Frank and his wife Lauren live in Fairlawn, along with their dog Rosie. |
