Photo Release: LaRose Keynotes Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame Induction
COLUMBUS—State Senator Frank LaRose (R-Hudson) was selected to be the keynote speaker at the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held on Thursday in Dublin, Ohio. The organization strives to pay proper recognition to those who have continued contributing to society after serving in the military.
“Those of us who served made a lifelong commitment when we raised our hand to take the oath. These great Ohioans have continued to serve our nation, state, community and our fellow citizens long after their time in uniform was done,” said Senator LaRose. “I was honored to be a part of this ceremony.”
Twenty distinguished veterans were honored for their exceptional accomplishments during this year’s induction ceremony. To read more about each outstanding individual inducted into the 2017 Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame, click here.
Established in 1992, the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame recognizes the post-military achievements of veterans after their service in the Armed Forces. Past honorees include astronauts, government officials, police officers, community leaders and advocates for Ohio’s veterans.
